Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
We’ve added to our inventory this evening! Technically it’s not winter yet so we are still building our Fall 4 Me Collection as we find appropriate items. This brown vinyl chair is super comfy and would look great in an office or as a side chair in any living space. Who doesn’t need more seating? And it’s neutral, which means it will go with just about any color scheme.
You can find the listings under our shop section, Fall 4 Me.
We’ve added 3 new items to our shop this weekend!
The Danish Modern Candleholders are so sleek and minimalist, I just love them! We wanted to post this pair quickly because our other wooden candlesticks are sold out! We’ve put these in our Fall 4 Me Collection because they look great with the other browns, yellows and oranges of our other items.
And speaking of orange! These Japanese Lotus Bowls are a real statement. The contrast between the white and orange really make these come to life. They’re the perfect size for votive candles, which could make for a very calm and Zen atmosphere.
Looking for Enlightenment? Here’s the listing.
And finally, one that I’d love to keep for myself! This vintage clock is the epitome of retro, Mad Men style! It is a working clock but maybe you’d like to keep it at 5 o’clock all of the time? No, I would not judge you. 😉
I needed a little pick-me-up this evening so I came home and made cocoa brownies! Mmmmm. They were so yummy after a long, rainy day at work. It was just the thing to give me that little boost of energy that I needed in order to post the remaining items in our Fall 4 Me Collection. And here they are.
So totally retro and bright! (it’s good to stock up on the CHEER for those rainy days like today.)
The Verdibou girls are quickly becoming luggage connoisseurs. We reupholstered our last two suitcases with new modern fabric. This new Fall 4 Me hat box was in very good condition when we found it. We kept the interior lining (and sweet little branding tag) but we did update it a bit. The handle strap was broken and left the bag unusable as luggage. We’ve replaced the strap with a new yellow ribbon, which not only makes it usable again, but super feminine! (And it looks great with our yellow chairs!)
Here are some photos that we didn’t have room for in our Etsy listing.
Hellooooo! Whitney and I took a short hiatus from the blog this past week while we had family in town. We were busy entertaining a special little munchkin named Taylor Kate (our niece), our sister, brother-in-law and father, otherwise known as Dad.
Disney, Sea World and Downtown Orlando were on the To Do list…and we hit them all. Taylor met some princesses, learned a new matching game and got to touch some slimy sting rays! Whitney and I probably had the most fun. We only get to see our niece a few times a year since we moved away from our “Old Kentucky Home” and we love spending time with her, vying for Favorite Aunt. It was a great week, complete with Dad doing some handiwork at each of our homes! (Thanks, Dad!)
Even though we had a busy week, we still made time for some Verdibou thrifting. We finally made it to a new thrift store in Ocoee and were pleasantly surprised! There are several new Fall 4 Me items that we’ll be adding to our shop this week. I just listed these folding chairs and will be posting the other new items in the next few days. Don’t you love the color on these chairs! (I do.) Even though they are easily stored, I think they’re cute enough to leave out all the time. Of course, if you don’t have the room, they are great to pull out for extra seating at impromptu parties or for outdoor entertaining.
Check back later for some retro kitchenware, perfect for that vintage picnic you’ve been planning!!
Hey, y’all. I’ve got the “Fall 4 Me” picnic vibe on the brain and thought I’d do a little “picnic” browsing on Etsy this evening. And, of course, I had to create a corresponding treasury! What’s the fun in finding cute stuff if you don’t share it!
“Vintage picnic with You, In the Fall” is a narrative of my make-believe picnic in the park. Those In attendance were, most notably, Barbie, along with some furry friends and a few un-welcomed guests. Barbie had a few too many glasses of wine and by the end of the Fall gathering had really started to dish about Ken and the gang. But her secrets are safe with this one.
And would you just look at these killer boots I was wearing!! 😉
